Yesterday I had the privilege of receiving a visit from one of mother nature’s true gems – a golden eagle seated 10 feet from me who then flew along Quail Lake. I had enough time to snap these pictures. It was truly a magical moment. This made me wonder if there was something behind the encounter. Maybe nature was delivering a message. I wondered what the eagle represents as a spirit guide. What I discovered gave me goosebumps.
The eagle represents being at a zenith in life and about to take off with power and great mental clarity. Since I have been working very hard at getting clear on my message and target market, and creating new ways to reach my tribe, this message from the eagle brought me to tears – tears of joy and excitement that I am on the right path. Sometimes when I am in the creation/stretch/risk phase of life, I so appreciate this kind of loving nudge forward.
A friend recently told me about six blue heron nests very near her house . When I looked that up for her, it was a strong message about being self-reliant and not looking for the approval of others. This really hit home for her. Another recent example I had with a nature encounter was watching two kit foxes return to their dens in the very early morning hours last summer. With the fox representing needing to overcome obstacles and be nimble, I understood a better approach to my husband’s shifting client base.
You may not have thought about receiving positive messages from your encounters with nature, so give it a try. Next time you really see and connect with an animal, bird, or even a reptile, check out the meaning of that creature. I just do a Google search – (name) & spirit guide. Find out what the ancient cultures thought about that being from nature. See if any of the descriptions resonate with you. And if you can, snap a picture and share it with me!
